A Brief Introduction to Land Acknowledgement, NAGPRA, and Land Rights in Toledo, Ohio

We sit on the ancestral land of many Nations. This exhibit seeks to give brief context for the Nations that lived on the land currently known as Toledo, Ohio, demonstrate how national legislation led to a dispute in our own backyard, and finally look at some examples of Indigenous land use and land rights cases.
